Sandstone Gilding and Restoration
House names and numbers gilded with 23.5 karat gold onto sandstone pillars with black or marroon/red backgrounds. Available in traditional serif Victorian style in serif or sans serif. These can be gilded onto plain sandstone or I can restore older signs. I can also gild carved numbers.
To book in, please send the following information:
• The name you'd like to be gilded
• The location of your house (ie. Glasgow, surrounding area, further afield)
• Photos of your pillars
• The width and height of the space the name and/or number will occupy
• An example of a previous number/name I've done which you like the style of
After I have this information and I have confirmed your pillar is suitable to gild I will send a rough estimate.
